Stress Awareness Week - Our top tip to alleviate stress

It is Stress Awareness Week - this top tip is something we encourage everyone to do, every day!

For the first 60 mins of your day go phone-free

Instead, check-in with yourself. Close your eyes, take 10 deep belly breaths, breathing in for 4 seconds and out for more

Place your hand on your heart and ask yourself ‘how am I feeling today and what do I need?’

Wait. Your head will answer first…be patient and notice how you are really feeling; perhaps energetically, emotionally, mentally, physically.

Next, ask yourself ‘what is it that I need today to best support myself?’

Maybe you need to create space in your diary, reschedule, slow down, be gentle with yourself. 

Or maybe you need a boost of energy - move your body, call your funniest pal, read something inspiring, dance to an epic song to shake up the energy!

Honour your needs so that you can feel your best - for yourself and for those you love.

Stress and burnout cannot be solved by mindfulness training!
