Supporting Women To Rise Authentically in the Workplace

During the second half of 2022, we have been delivering our Women Rising programme for corporate partners and this work has lit us up!

There have been some common themes emerging and in the interest of practising what we preach, we have taken some time to step back and consolidate our findings.

We all need help to realise our superpowers.

We have had many lightbulb moments from attendees who, before now, have not taken the time to consider their biggest strengths and how to utilise them fully at work. It’s really very special to see those realisations happen! It’s beautiful to see the variety in what our attendees are uncovering as their own unique gifts. And coaching sessions are helping them to see that strengths that may have previously considered completely unrelated to work are not being leveraged when leading their teams and making an epic impact at work. “

Time and space to focus on personal development is crucial.

Our attendees often arrived feeling stressed, overwhelmed and like ‘they don’t have time to spend on development.’ They leave our sessions feeling centred, focused and like they can’t be without it. Carving out time for people to spend stepping out of the day-to-day is so important for businesses not only for their employees’ wellbeing, but to allow them to be more intentional about their leadership.

The collective power of a group is inspiring and impactful.

For them, having shared experiences and seeing things from other perspectives is crucial within our process. This is also very impactful for the business they work in - we’ve had wide ranging business impacts, from group support for managing difficult conversations to whole company presentations delivered by our groups on the work they’ve been undertaking.

Connection within workplaces is underrated.

One group said ‘they had never had the chance to bond before’ and we have seen the impact of this in how they have raised each other up, amplified each others’ voices and cheered each other on. Spending time building deep and meaningful connections is not just a ‘feel good factor’, we have observed how it has strengthened inter-divisional relationships.

We are proud of creating brave and safe spaces.

There have been tears, laughter, and everything in between. But for us, creating these spaces for people to be open to really showing themselves and the growth we have witnessed as a consequence has been such a privilege. Seeing women step into their gentle power and to connect with the brave, heart-centred leaders they are is truly magical.
