Vulnerability - we are imperfect but we are worthy
Vulnerability - a topic I have been discussing a lot this week and an emotion that is so so hard for everybody. Putting yourself out there and exposing your imperfections is not an appealing prospect and so we hide behind our masks, sweeping the less appetising parts of ourselves under the carpet. But this creates an inauthentic picture for each other - what kind of lesson does that teach our children? That they too must be perfect and that being themselves is not ok.I adore this TED Talk. We are imperfect but we are worthy.
